Private by design

The short version

Seed Code CLI collects nothing. No telemetry, no analytics, no accounts, no tracking.

Your data

• API keys are stored locally in ~/.seedcode/config.json on your machine and are only sent to the provider you configured.
• Prompts and responses travel directly between your machine and your chosen AI provider (OpenRouter, FreeModel, AeroLink, or your local Ollama instance); the built-in Default provider speaks to Seed Code's own connection. Your keys are never sent anywhere you have not configured.
• Conversation history, if enabled, lives only on your machine.

Third parties

When you use a cloud provider, that provider's own privacy policy applies to the requests you send it. With Ollama, everything stays on your hardware.

This website

This site is a static site. It sets no cookies and runs no trackers. Fonts and animation libraries are loaded from public CDNs, which may see standard request metadata (IP, user agent) as with any web resource.
